We would definitely skip this if it were it not the Monday niter. The Eags are a sick team with a lame duck head coach who are trying to break in a rookie QB. The Panthers are a happy club but they have regular football problems. Both teams are underacheivers on offense, having left a season's worth of points on the field already.
The key in tonight's game, aside from the rookie QB Foles, appears to be the long pass play. If Carolina gets them they'll beat the Eags and the spread, if not, not. Will Reid keep his safeties back and will his CBs tackle? Will Foles be the next Blll Nelson? Will Carolina play a full game? Who knows, but since we have to play, we'll put a little on the home doggie. |

| This should be an entertaining pass festival with both QBs facing a lot of pressure. Aaron Rodgers and the Pack's air attack has been functional and tonite they go against a secondary that's one of the worst in the league. The Giant's passing game has been stuttering a bit, but we expect them to be there at home. The return game could be a factor as Green Bay has an edge there. We've got a couple of points with a live dog so we'll make a lite, 2-chip play. |

| Our Official forecast calls this one close, as do the oddsmakers, as does just about anybody who looks at this game. We tilted toward the Ravens based on our Recent History forecast. This one should be about who can make better use of their yardage. You have got to love a game that goes off at PICK. |

| The system has done so poorly going against the Saints that we look deeply for reasons NOT to do it. The best we can come up with this week is that our two main forecasts, the season-long and recent games projections, are dominated by Chicago's no-show last week. The other forecast, the one that eliminates those blowouts, points to the Saints. That may not be a good enough reason to curb our risk factor but that, along with a new QB, is. Still, if the 49rs defense has one of their better games they should handle the Saints. |
|
| Another game, another new QB. This time it's some guy named Lindley. We don't know anything about him, but this backup can't be any worse than their other backup. The Cards are one of the worst scoring teams we've ever seen, but the Rams can give points away, especially on the road, so maybe we'll get a gift. Is it wrong to expect a gift? It's the right time of year, anyway. |

| There's something about a Jets game that makes the Pats want to run it down their throats. Maybe it's the Jets own good secondary, or maybe controlling the ball appeals to Belichik, but it's not the easiest way to beat the Jets, it's just the most attractive. Those running plays, successful as they are, take away from the Patriot passing game. The Pats pass D can be had, but that depends on Sanchez and Tebow. This is hardly a good bet but we're getting a full TD and our computer calls it a Best Bet, so we'll ante up a chip. |

This play isn't about the Cowboys having trouble with the Browns last week, nor is it about the Skins cakewalk over Philly, it's more about Dallas' excellent passing attack going after one of the worst pass defenses in the league. It also features Washington's strong running game, but they'll be facing a pretty fair rushing D that should play well at home.
One day the commissioner will succeed in eliminating all football contact. In the meantime, we need Dez Bryant to concentrate more on football and less on contact. Make it 2 chips on the home team. |

Detroit must have been heartbroken to lose last week after dominating the Packers. Tough! They still get paid. We, on the other hand, had to shell out bigtime because of their collapse. They could have beaten the spread if they had a single positive play in the last two minutes.
Mad as we are at the Lions, we are going to go with them again, although at a lesser amount. Betting the minimum on the Lions today. Let's hope Turkey day is about the food, not the team. |

Good Luck Everyone!
