MISS: Dallas 18 Washington 16 |
we remember a conversation we had with Dave Whitsell a few years back. We asked him if maybe we should bet the other way when we learned that Emmitt Smith had a dislocated shoulder for the Cows. We'll never forget what he said. He said, "Nah". Smith and the Cows won going away. Keep in mind that we come from the Namath-Kapp-Gabriel-Lamonica Era, when QBs use to play looking through a sheet of blood. They would've called Romo's injury 'being nicked up'.
Maybe Tony will be a little limited tonight, but that would just make him look like, well, Rex Grossman. There are 21 other players on the field at any time and those guys know each other real good. In fact, if you're looking for differences tonite, there is one big one. the Cowboys are playing at home.
The oddsmakers have given the home team the customary 3-point home field advantage. We feel the HFA is a bit more important, so we'll take the home team and lay the points. Because of the way the Hilton has structured the game, we do have to bet 12 to win 10.
Good Luck Everyone!
